Best Shopify Bundle Apps in 2026: 7 Apps Compared by Bundle Type
Guest post by Charlie Ngo, Chief Marketing Manager at BOGOS.
Search "bundle" in the Shopify App Store and you get more than 100 results. Every listing promises higher AOV, every listing shows a five-star rating, and almost none of them tell you which kind of bundle they are actually built for.
So most merchants pick by review count. Then they discover the app cannot run the offer they had in mind, or that the bill triples the month their bundles start selling.
The useful filter is simpler: the bundle type you want to run decides the app, and the pricing cap decides what it costs you.
This guide covers seven bundle apps on the same four criteria — which bundle types each one supports, how the discount behaves at checkout, what happens to your inventory, and what you pay at your order volume. Start with the bundle types below, then read only the reviews that match.
1. The 5 Types of Bundles You Can Run on Shopify
Apps describe their features in their own vocabulary, which is why comparison tables are hard to read. These five labels cover almost everything on the market.
Fixed Bundle
A set group of products at a set price. The shopper does not choose anything.
Best for starter kits, multipacks, and "buy the whole routine" offers where the combination is already obvious.
The shopper picks items from a pool you define, and the discount applies once they hit a quantity or cart value rule.
Best for apparel, consumables, and any catalogue where shoppers have a strong size, flavour, or colour preference.
Build-a-Box (BYOB)
A guided, often multi-step page where the shopper assembles a box step by step. Usually tiered: pick 3, pick 6, pick 12.
Best for gifting, hampers, and subscription-style boxes where the building is the experience.
Volume / Tiered Discount
Buy more units of one product, save more per unit. Also called quantity breaks.
Best for consumables and refills, where the only real question is how many the shopper takes.
Frequently Bought Together
Recommendation-driven pairing, shown on the product page or in the cart, often generated automatically.
Best for accessories and complementary catalogues where the pairing is not obvious to the shopper.
One distinction worth getting right
BOGO, BXGY, and Gift with Purchase (GWP) are promotion types, not bundle types. They reward a purchase rather than packaging products together.
Merchants mix these up constantly, and it is the single most common reason they install the wrong app. If you want bundles and free gifts, you need an app that covers both categories — otherwise you end up paying for two subscriptions that fight over the same discount.
⚠️ Watch out
Shopify's own free Bundles app handles Fixed Bundles and multipacks at no cost. If that is genuinely all you need, you do not need any app on this list. The apps below exist for the other four types, and for the discount, inventory, and reporting control that the native app does not give you.
Next step: pick the one or two types that match what you sell, then jump to those apps in the table below.
2. Quick Comparison: 7 Shopify Bundle Apps
App | Best for | Bundle types | Free plan | Paid from | Rating & reviews |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
BOGOS: Free Gift Bundle Upsell | Running bundles with free gifts, BOGO, BXGY | Fixed, Mix & Match, Build-a-Box, Volume | Yes — 30 lifetime orders | $29.99/mo | 5.0 ★ (4,593) |
Fast Bundle | Broadest bundle-type coverage in one dedicated app | Fixed, Mix & Match, Build-a-Box, Volume, BOGO, FBT | Dev stores only | $19/mo | 5.0 ★ (3,500+) |
Bundler – Product Bundles | Cheapest credible paid entry, flat fee | Fixed, Mix & Match, Volume, BOGO | Yes — no revenue or order cap | $9.99/mo | 4.9 ★ (2,600+) |
Simple Bundles & Kits | SKU-level inventory and 3PL fulfilment | Fixed, Mix & Match, Build-a-Box, multipacks | Yes — 3 bundles, 50 orders/mo | $14/mo | 4.9 ★ (800+) |
Kaching Bundles | Volume tiers and quantity breaks | Volume, Fixed, BOGO, FBT | Dev stores only | $14.99/mo | 5.0 ★ (6,100+) |
Easy Bundles: Bundle Builder | Build-a-box and gifting flows | Build-a-Box, Mix & Match, Fixed, subscription boxes | Yes — up to $500/mo bundle sales | $29/mo | 4.9 ★ (1,300+) |
BundleSuite Bundle Builder | Multi-step builders on a low flat fee | Build-a-Box, Mix & Match, multi-set | Dev stores only | $12/mo | 5.0 ★ (500+) |
How to read this table
The "Paid from" column is the least useful number here. Look at the free plan column instead, because that tells you how the app meters you.
Bundle apps cap three different ways, and the difference is large:
By order count — BOGOS. Your bill tracks total orders, not bundle performance.
By bundle sales revenue — FBP, Easy Bundles, BundleSuite. Your bill climbs as the bundles work.
By bundle count or flat fee — Bundler, Simple Bundles. Your bill stays put.
A revenue-capped app at $19/month is cheaper than a flat $29/month app until your bundles pass the cap, and then it is not. Run the numbers at the revenue you expect in month six, not month one.
3. How We Compared These Apps
We scored every app on the same six criteria:
Bundle types supported — checked against the five types above, not the app's own marketing labels
Discount behaviour at checkout — whether the app uses native Shopify discounts or works around them, and whether the discount survives to the order
Inventory handling — whether component SKUs decrement correctly, and what that means for 3PL and POS
Storefront widget — placement options, styling control, and page-speed cost
Pricing model — the metering method and where the cap bites, not the headline price
Channel coverage — Shopify POS, headless, and Shopify Markets
Figures come from Shopify App Store listings and vendor documentation, checked November 2026. Ratings and review counts move weekly, so treat them as a snapshot.
Disclosure: the author works at BOGOS. BOGOS is listed first, and we have also named every situation in this guide where a different app is the better choice — there are several, and they are in the decision section at the end.
We have not run a controlled side-by-side test of all seven apps on the same store. This comparison is based on listings, documentation, merchant reviews, and our own experience building promotion tooling on Shopify.
4. The 7 Best Shopify Bundle Apps
#1 BOGOS: Free Gift Bundle Upsell
Best for: Merchants running bundles with free gifts, BOGO and BXGY offers from one dashboard.
Pricing: Free plan (30 lifetime orders) · Basic $29.99/mo · Grow $49.99/mo · Advanced $69.99/mo · Plus $109.99/mo
Rating & Reviews: 5.0 ★ (4,593 reviews) · Developer: BOGOS · Built for Shopify

BOGOS is used by 95,000+ brands, including 5,139 Shopify Plus stores, and has been on the App Store for 11+ years.
The app covers bundles and promotions in the same place. That matters because most stores running bundles also run a gift or a BOGO at some point in the year, and two separate apps mean two sets of discount logic competing in the same cart.
Key features — building the offer
Mix & Match widget with unlimited mix items and tiered discount levels
Dedicated Bundle Builder page for guided build-a-box flows
Four discount types: percentage, fixed amount, fixed price, and free product
Volume discounts, Frequently Bought Together and cart messages in the same app
Sub-conditions that target by customer tag, purchase history or location
Auto-add to cart and gift slider for GWP and BOGO offers
Key features — setting it up and promoting it
BOGOS AI builds ready-to-use offers from a plain-language description, with four skills in one chat: ask, search, create and analyse
Shopify Sidekick creates and manages BOGOS offers from your Shopify admin, so you can set up an offer without opening the app
Promotion Boosters — announcement bar, progress bar, today-offer widget and a standalone offer page — with booster analytics to show which ones shoppers actually engage with
Performance analytics with export
Works across Shopify POS, headless setups and the TikTok Shop sales channel
Limitations
Pricing meters by order volume rather than bundle revenue. If you run high order counts at low AOV, check the tier maths before you commit — a store doing 2,000 small orders a month pays more here than a flat-fee app would charge.
BOGOS AI is available on paid plans only, so the free tier does not include it.
Verdict: The strongest pick if your promotion calendar includes more than bundles. If you only ever need one Mix & Match offer, a cheaper single-purpose app will do the job.
#2 Fast Bundle
Best for: Stores that want the widest range of bundle types from one dedicated bundle app.
Pricing: Free for development stores · Standard (1k) $19/mo · Standard (3k) $49/mo · Standard (10k) $139/mo
Rating & Reviews: 5.0 ★ (3,500+ reviews) · Developer: Fast Bundle

This app now appears as FBP | Fast Bundle & Upsell App. If you have seen it recommended as "Fast Bundle", it is the same product.
Its strength is coverage. Fixed, Mix & Match (including tiered and sectioned variants), Build-a-Box, volume discounts, BOGO, add-ons and AI-generated Frequently Bought Together all run from one install.
Key features
Tiered and sectioned Mix & Match, which few competitors support
Unlimited AI Frequently Bought Together recommendations
AI bundle image generator for bundle thumbnails
Optional auto bundle detection add-on
Shopify POS support
Limitations
There is no free production plan — the free tier covers development stores only, so you cannot test on a live store without paying.
Pricing is capped by bundle sales revenue, so the cost rises exactly as the bundles start working. At $10,000 in monthly bundle sales you are on the $139 tier.
Verdict: The best choice if you need four or five bundle types from one app and your bundle revenue is still modest.
#3 Bundler – Product Bundles
Best for: Testing whether bundles work for your catalogue before you spend anything.
Pricing: Free plan with no revenue or order cap · Premium $9.99/mo flat · Executive $19.99/mo
Rating & Reviews: 4.9 ★ (2,600+ reviews) · Developer: Bundler

Bundler is the value pick, and the free plan is the reason. Unlike most competitors, it does not cap you by bundle revenue or order count, so you can run real offers on a live store at no cost.
The paid tiers are flat fees rather than revenue tiers, which makes the bill predictable as bundles scale.
Key features
Fixed Bundles, Mix & Match, volume discounts and quantity breaks
Tiered discounts
Bundle landing pages
Subscription bundles via Seal Subscriptions integration
Shopify POS support
Limitations
No Build-a-Box builder in the polished, multi-step sense. If the bundle-building experience is the selling point of your offer, this is not the app.
Storefront styling control is more limited than the dedicated builder apps.
Verdict: Start here if you are not yet sure bundles will work for you. The free plan answers that question for nothing.
#4 Simple Bundles & Kits
Best for: Stores where the bundle has to survive contact with a warehouse.
Pricing: Free plan (3 bundles, 50 orders/mo) · Basic $14/mo · Grow & Advanced $39/mo · Plus $149/mo
Rating & Reviews: 4.9 ★ (800+ reviews) · Developer: Simple Bundles · Built for Shopify

Most bundle apps are storefront tools. Simple Bundles is an operations tool that happens to display bundles.
It breaks every bundle order into its component SKUs, so your 3PL, WMS or ERP receives the individual items rather than a bundle line it cannot pick.
Key features
SKU-level breakdown of bundle orders at fulfilment
Inventory sync across components
Kits, multipacks, Mix & Match and Build-a-Box
B2B and subscription workflows
Shopify POS support
Limitations
The free plan caps hard at 3 bundles and 50 orders a month, which runs out quickly.
The storefront experience is functional rather than designed. If you want a visually rich bundle page, pair this with a builder app or expect theme work.
Verdict: The right answer if you use a 3PL, hold component-level stock, or have ever oversold a bundle. Overkill if you sell a handful of fixed kits from your own stockroom.
#5 Kaching Bundles
Best for: Quantity breaks on a hero product, backed by the largest review base in the category.
Pricing: Free for development stores · Starter $14.99/mo · Scale $29.99/mo · Pro $59.99/mo
Rating & Reviews: 5.0 ★ (6,100+ reviews) · Developer: Kaching Apps

Kaching does a narrow job extremely well. Quantity breaks, volume discounts and product-page bundle widgets, with built-in A/B testing.
That A/B testing is the differentiator. You can prove which discount structure converts before you roll it out, instead of guessing at the tier percentages.
Key features
Quantity breaks and volume discounts with clean product-page widgets
Built-in A/B testing of offer structures
Bundle deals, BOGO and free gift offers
Frequently Bought Together
Multiple widget layouts and storefront customisation
Shopify POS support
Limitations
No free production plan — development stores only.
Pricing meters by the additional revenue the bundles generate, and the ceiling is high. Seven tiers run up to $299/mo.
This is not a Build-a-Box app. If your offer needs a guided multi-step page, look elsewhere.
Verdict: The strongest pick for a single-hero-product store selling consumables or refills. The A/B testing alone justifies it if volume discounting is your main lever.
#6 Easy Bundles: Bundle Builder
Best for: Guided build-your-own-box and gifting experiences.
Pricing: Free up to $500/mo in bundle sales · Essential Plan $29/mo (up to $3,000) · Growth Plan $49/mo · Scale Plan $99/mo
Rating & Reviews: 4.9 ★ (1,300+ reviews) · Developer: Skai Lama · Built for Shopify

If the box-building flow is the product experience rather than a discount mechanic, Easy Bundles app is the specialist.
It handles single-step and multi-step builders, standalone bundle landing pages, and search and filtering inside the builder itself — which matters once your bundle pool runs past a dozen products.
Key features
Single and multi-step bundle builders
Standalone bundle landing pages
Product search and filtering inside the builder
Subscription bundles from the $49 tier
Fixed, tiered, percentage, flat and BOGO pricing
Inventory sync
Shopify POS support
Limitations
The free tier caps at $500/mo in bundle sales, and reports indicate it is unavailable to Shopify Plus and Advanced stores.
Free gift offers only unlock from the $49 plan.
A/B testing requires a separate app.
Verdict: The best build-a-box experience in this group. Choose it when the builder is the offer, not when the discount is.
#7 BundleSuite Bundle Builder
Best for: Multi-step builders and very large option sets, at the lowest entry price in the category.
Pricing: Free for development stores · Starter Plan $12/mo · Essential Plan $29/mo · Professional Plan $49/mo
Rating & Reviews: 5.0 ★ (500+ reviews) · Developer: BundleSuite · Built for Shopify

BundleSuite offers a similar feature set to the more expensive builders at a third of the entry price.
Its distinguishing trick is bypassing Shopify's variant ceiling. Standard Shopify caps you at 3 options and 100 variants per product; BundleSuite's infinite-options mode handles far larger configurations, which matters for mystery boxes and heavily customised bundles.
Key features
Multi-step and multi-set bundle builders
Pre-designed templates
Infinite-options mode for configurations beyond Shopify's variant limits
Mystery box support
Shopify POS support
Limitations
No free production plan — development stores only, so there is no way to test on a live store for free.
The smallest review base of the seven apps here, so there is less merchant evidence to lean on than with Kaching or FBP.
Verdict: Strong value if you want a proper multi-step builder and $29/mo for Easy Bundles feels steep. Check the review volume is enough reassurance for you.
5. How to Choose: Match the App to Your Store
Work down this list and stop at the first line that describes you.
You are not sure bundles will work for your catalogue → Bundler. The free plan has no revenue or order cap, so the test costs nothing.
You run free gifts, BOGO or BXGY alongside bundles → BOGOS. One discount engine instead of two apps colliding in the cart.
You need four or five bundle types from one app → FBP. Widest coverage, as long as your bundle revenue is still under the $19 tier cap.
A 3PL, WMS or component-level stock is involved → Simple Bundles & Kits. Nothing else on this list handles SKU breakdown properly.
Quantity breaks on one hero product are your whole strategy → Kaching. The A/B testing will pay for itself.
The build-your-own-box flow is the experience you are selling → Easy Bundles. Best builder in the group.
You want a multi-step builder on a tight budget → BundleSuite. $12/mo for most of what Easy Bundles does.
✅ Checklist: answer these 5 before you install
Which bundle type? Fixed, Mix & Match, Build-a-Box, Volume, or FBT. Pick one or two, not all five.
Do you need discount stacking? If a bundle discount has to coexist with a sitewide code, check the app's combination rules first.
How does your inventory work? If a 3PL picks your orders, component SKU breakdown is not optional.
What is your month-six bundle revenue? Price the app at that number, not at today's number.
Do you need POS, headless or Markets? Confirm it on the listing, not in the marketing copy.
Next step: install one app on its free or trial plan, launch a single offer on one product line, and leave it running for 2–4 weeks before you judge it. One offer tells you more than three apps installed at once, which mostly tells you how discounts conflict.
Once it is live, track three numbers: bundle attach rate, AOV on bundle orders versus non-bundle orders, and margin after the bundle discount.
FAQ
What is the best bundle app for Shopify?
There is no single answer, because the apps are built for different bundle types. For bundles plus free gifts and BOGO, BOGOS. For the widest bundle-type coverage, FBP. For free testing, Bundler. For 3PL inventory, Simple Bundles. For quantity breaks, Kaching. For build-a-box, Easy Bundles.
Is Shopify's free Bundles app good enough?
For Fixed Bundles and multipacks, yes — and you should use it rather than paying for an app you do not need. It falls short on Mix & Match, Build-a-Box, quantity breaks, discount flexibility and bundle-level reporting. Its App Store rating reflects those gaps rather than a broken product.
What is the best free Shopify bundle app?
Bundler has the most generous genuinely free plan, with no revenue or order cap. BOGOS and Simple Bundles also offer free production tiers with limits.
Can I run bundles and a free gift offer at the same time?
Yes, but discount logic is where it goes wrong. Two separate apps applying discounts to the same cart frequently conflict, and the shopper sees the wrong price or no discount at all. Running both from one app avoids the problem entirely.
Do bundle apps slow down my store?
Any storefront widget adds weight. Apps carrying the Built for Shopify badge have passed Shopify's performance standards, which is a reasonable first filter. Test your product page speed before and after installing, and remove leftover widget code from your theme when you uninstall an app.
Do bundle apps work with Shopify POS?
All seven apps in this guide list Shopify POS support, but coverage varies by bundle type and sometimes by plan tier. If you sell in person, confirm your specific bundle type works on POS before committing to a paid plan.
Conclusion
The bundle type decides the app. The pricing cap decides the cost. Those two questions settle most of this decision before you read a single review.
If you are starting from zero, Bundler's uncapped free plan lets you find out whether bundling works for your catalogue at no cost. If you already run promotions, BOGOS keeps bundles, gifts and BOGO offers under one discount engine. If a warehouse touches your orders, Simple Bundles is the only real option here.
Pick one bundle type, install one app on a free or trial plan, run one offer for a month, and measure the AOV difference. That is a cheaper way to learn what works than any comparison table — including this one.
Editor's note: once your bundles are live, keep an eye on what competitors charge for the same products. Intelis tracks competitor prices on Google Shopping for Shopify stores.
